The 3-3-3 Rule

Rescuing isn’t always easy. It takes time, once you bring a rescued dog or cat into your home, to get them to acclimate.

We call this the 3-3-3 rule:

  • Three days to decompress.
  • Three weeks to settle in.
  • Three months to feel completely at home.

We have faced this with our own rescue pups, so we know the initial stages aren’t always easy. But, friends. . .they are always worth it!
